“Fiber” is a trader nickname for EUR/USD. The most common explanation is technological: when the euro was introduced, European and U.S. financial markets were increasingly connected through modern fiber-optic communication cables. Traders began using “Fiber” as a newer counterpart to “Cable,” the long-standing nickname for GBP/USD, which dates back to the transatlantic telegraph cable used to transmit sterling-dollar prices.
The curve holds €4.22 so far. When the price reaches the top of its range, everything it holds becomes a locked Uniswap pool.
